Between 27 and 29 April 2026, the Municipal Center for the Development of Entrepreneurship is organising a working visit to Cluj-Napoca, Romania, within the #EUroBRIDGE_UA_MD project — Building Collaborative Pathways for Regional Development and Improved Administrative Capacity for EU Cohesion Policy Adoption in Ukraine and Moldova.
The project, funded by the European Union through the Support to Ukraine and Moldova border regions programme and implemented by the Municipal Center for the Development of Entrepreneurship, an institution created by the Chișinău City Hall, in partnership with RDA Odesa and Hygia Romania, aims to strengthen institutional capacities and develop cross-border cooperation through exchange of experience, the adoption of European good practices and alignment with the European Union's cohesion policies.
On the first day of the visit, the delegation took part in working sessions organised together with the North-West Regional Development Agency of Romania, analysing the principles of EU cohesion policy, regional development mechanisms and examples of good practice in the functioning of project coordination and monitoring structures.
The agenda continued with a session held at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, focused on the role of research and education in regional economic development and on the integration of academic institutions into European projects.
The delegation of the Republic of Moldova consists of representatives of public institutions, academia and entrepreneurship-support organisations, including business clusters.
Participation in this project contributes to strengthening institutional competences and building lasting partnerships meant to support the development of the entrepreneurial environment in Chișinău and the Republic of Moldova, through access to European expertise and integration into international cooperation networks.
